Hello! My name is Nikki Hariton. I graduated in 1967. I have lived, studied, and, worked in several cities in the U.S.and,in Europe.
I traveled a lot in Europe. My B.A. is from New York University in French literature.I spent my Junior Year Abroad at NYU Paris. My M.A. is from the UM in Teaching English as a Second Language. I studied for my California Teaching Credential at San Francisco State University.
I taught English Language Development in colleges and high schools in
Athens, Greece; New York; Oakland; San Francisco; and,
Los Angeles. Most of my family lives in Los Angeles, so this is where
I stayed. I love the beach. I love the weather. I retired in 2014.
I love my friends in Ann Arbor. I miss you.
My best friend, Mary Beth South (Greear( died in 2012. Two other dear friends have died as well: Lindsay Evans and Jeff Lamb. Without my mother, and, Mary Beth, the thought of coming to Ann Arbor does not seem easy yet.
