I graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1973. I retired in 2014 having worked as a physical therapist in long term rehab, mental health, and homecare.
My husband David and I have been married 35 years. We have 2 daughters. Stephanie is a kindergarten teacher at St Mary's here in Charlotte. Julianna is a senior accountant for Bedrock in Detroit.
In my spare time I like to do stained glass, swim, and walk for exercise. I am also very involved in my church serving as chair of the Outreach Board, chairing the Harvest Feast which is a big turkey dinner held once a year, planning and cooking 4 community dinners our church sponsors, acting as co-chair of the kitchen for our annual Bazaar, and helping with Festival of Trees. We also have a cabin we like to spend time at in the summer.
