When we moved to Beaumont in 1961, George was the first person I met. He was a great guy, and a great friend. He had a heart as big as Texas and a since of humor to match. When my mother died in 1964, he and his mom, and Cathy Allen were there to support me and help me get through the hard time. I am truely sorry to see him go. Rest in peace my dear friend. You are loved!
