After high school and some college, I married Rusty Wilson (Class of '65). We had three children (Jason, Whitney and Jeff) and lived in Beaumont. After 18 years, we divorced. I worked for Jefferson County and remarried - Ron Walker - entered into politics and was elected Jefferson County Clerk (replacing my dear friend and former French High Grad Lolita Ramos). I retired in 2003. Ronny and I spend most of our retirement at the beach but still have a home in Beaumont. I was so looking forward to our 50th Reunion but will not be able to attend - our granddaughter is getting married that weekend. Y'all have fun and don't talk about me while I'm gone - but if you do - be nice!! Haha
How can it be fifty years when I still feel so young! After graduating from Lamar, I married Mike Keen (South Park, 1966) and we moved to Houston. We lived there until 1980 when we moved to Littleton, Colorado. Our daughters Rhonda and Suzanne were both born in Houston so they are both Texans! We've lived here in Colorado ever since, now in Morrison. I was lucky to be able to pretty much stay at home with the girls although I have worked at some sort of job all the time - now work two days a week at a quilt store - a passion since 1998. Mike has worked as an IT consultant for most of our 45-year married life. We do a modest amount of travelling with going to South Lake Tahoe to visit Rhonda and her husband Jeff and going to New York City to visit Suzanne among our favorite destinations. The reunion should be great fun - thanks to everyone who has worked to put it all together.
I have been married to Jimmy Boggan (class of '63) for 35 years. Together we have 4 children, 13 grandkids and one great granddaughter.
We both retired 4 years ago and spend most of our time at the beach. We enjoy spending time with the grandkids, traveling and just taking long walks on the beach.
Looking forward to the 50th and seeing everyone.

I enjoyed seeing everyone from the graduating class of 1966. Can it be true we will be celebrating our Golden 50th? There are many fond memories of French High and the friends that were so dear to our hearts. I was one of those that could hardly wait to graduate because something a little more important was planned two weeks after graduating. Don and I got married and then into the military. Don is no longer with us after a fight with cancer and I do miss him. He died a few days before our 40th anniversary. He would have loved to have come to the 50th year reunion.
I am so blessed by all of you and that now, after being widowed twice, I have been given true love in Cita. After being alone for 8 years, God positioned us to meet at the Vet's office, and the rest is history. My twin sons will be 37 and they grew up well despite me. Sons gave us 4 grandkids and I married into another 2 and they are all the greatest. Living the dream now and looking forward to the reunion.
Here's how my life started after school ended:
I went to Army, had my training at Fort Polk, soon after that I went to Germany for two years. Afterwards, I went to Viet Nam and stayed 18 months. I went back to Germany after my marriage to a German girl. Then I worked for 8 years with a German company. I had to learn to speak German. After my wife died, I went back home in Texas, and have worked here until I retired.
Reading these messages brings back a flood of great memories of our days at French High. After my time there, I graduated from Lamar and then went to law school at the U. of Houston.
