Cynthia “Cindy” Johnson Haddon…

February 16, 1950 - June 14, 2014
On Saturday, June 14, 2014, Cindy Johnson Haddon passed away after a long defiant battle with cancer. She passed away in peace at her home in Pocatello with her family and lifelong companion Rocky Haddon and son Scott Haddon by her side.

Cindy was born February 16, 1950 in Clarinda, Iowa and grew up in the area with her loving family. She especially loved her cousin Deedee Gray and they shared many great memories. She moved to several areas until she found her resting place in Idaho. She worked for the State of Idaho for 15 years at the Idaho State University where she was dearly loved and trusted. Upon her retirement in 2006 she took it to the fullest with long relaxing days filled with visiting close friends and family in the community. She loved going out to her favorite restaurants and ending her nights with long talks with her sister Linda. She especially loved her yearly trips back home to Iowa to see her family and close friends. She would not go alone as she preferred to bring close friends and family from Idaho to Iowa on these wonderful trips.
Cindy accomplished many of her dreams including owning a beautiful home and all the toys to go with it. She enjoyed life to the fullest, she did not grieve during her valiant battle with cancer but instead she filled her days with smiles and encouragement to all those around her. She enjoyed her favorite playmates Cheyenne and Dakota (her puppies). She loved to support survivor’s events and functions. She loved to talk about her past and the experiences she had gone through in life. Cindy will be dearly missed, always loved, and never forgotten.

She is survived by her life long companion, Rocky Haddon, son, Scott Haddon, grandsons, Jacob and Nathaniel; mother, Anita Morgan, sister, Linda Johnson, brother, Ed (Tzipee) Johnson, and many friends of the community all across this state, country, and world.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Johnson and son Craig Haddon.
