I became a pharmacist in 1975. Four years later I said "screw this" and sold every thing I owned. I set off to ride a bicycle around the world. I ended up in Africa for 12 years trafficking rough gem material. It was a great life there.... met my wife there (36 years now), had 2 kids and somehow wound up here in Ashland, Oregon where I'm doing pharmacy work again.
I ride bikes still.... thousands of miles per year.... I ride mountain bikes, gravel bikes, road bikes. Apple Computers. Good food and wine. Politics: gave up on it. Religion: nope. Important stuff: family, good friends, a cat.
