Graduated from Bemidji State University (1976) with pre-med/biology and University of North Dakota (1979, 2005) with BSN (Nursing) and MS (Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care). I live and work in Grand Forks, ND. I worked for Altru Health System for 34years. I am now a consultant and a subject matter expert for ND state and UND's Center for Rural Health. I do national presentations for PESI HealthCare. I have 3 children, Patrick (South Pasadena, CA), Robyn (St. Paul) and Heather (Fertile) and 3 grandsons. I still love animals, 3 dogs, 1 aquarium and 1 cats. Something unique about me- I have had 5 encounters with lightning!
