OBITUARY...
Patricia Joyce Jensen, 62, passed away on Tuesday, December 11th in Hiawatha, KS, where she resided for most of her adult life. For the most part, she was a single mother of three. She was a very devout woman, and always an active part in her community and The First United Methodist Church. Patricia was a loving and wonderful mother.

Patricia’s life revolved around her kids and grandkids, as well as, the relationships and involvement that she formed in the church. She had a deep love and appreciation for music which she instilled in her children. She was always an active part in the handbell choir, and the vocal choir. She was a mainstay in the music club she attended. She taught trumpet lessons, and played taps for many of our fallen veterans. She was always active with the Cub-Scouting and Girl Scout programs.

She loved being a part of the community, and was a loved member of the community. Never having a bad thing to say about anyone, and willing to do anything for anyone.

Patricia is survived by her 3 children: Jeff Jensen of Hiawatha, Barb O’ Neill of Hiawatha, and Keith Jensen of Hiawatha; her six grandchildren: Sophia, Michael, Payten, Piper Jensen, Aidan O’ Neill, and Lennon Bolinger, all of Hiawatha.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Ralph Harding Jensen, and Thelma Joyce Jensen, and her sister Barbara Joyce Jensen Gerk.
A Celebration of Pat’s life is planned for 10:30 a.m. Friday, at First United Methodist Church at Hiawatha. Reverend Randy Quinn will officiate, assisted by Tony French. Interment will follow at Hiawatha Cemetery.
Friends may call at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha after 12 noon until 7 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pat Jensen Memorial Fund which may be sent in care of the funeral home, 124 S 7th St., Hiawatha 66434.
