After graduating from high school, I attended the University of Minnesota for undergraduate education and then dental school. I gradated from dental school and then did specialty training in oral and maxillo-facial surgery. After 34 years of private practice in St. Paul, I retired in 2010. My wife, Kay, and I divide our time between North Oaks in the cities and our lake home on Big Trout Lake on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes. We have two great kids (Danny 28 and Katie 23). Danny graduated from ASU and works for renters warehouse and is acquiring rental properties. He plans on being a real estate magnate by the time he is 50. Katie graduated from Gustavus where she swam and was a 9 time Division III All American freestyler. She will go to graduate school in physical therapy this fall.
