I have been married for 41 years to Neil Handel (Class of '64). We have 2 daughters and 6 awesome grandchildren. Tricia (Steve) LaVictoire is a corporate travel consultant with Carlson Wagonlit travel, she has 4 great kids: Stephanie 19, Jordan 17, Alexander 16, and Madeline 13. Krista (Brent) Anderson is a court operations supervisor in Wright County, she has 2 handsome sons: Digory 15, and Cael 8. Both families live close by, making family gatherings frequent. Neil is a maintenance supervisor for H. Brooks Produce Co. I have worked for Coca-Cola for 43 years in several departments, currently in inventory.
We are huge sports fans- Vikings-Wild-Twins and the Lynx. We love to attend our grandkids school, sports and music activities. We also love to travel, taking a winter vacation every year to either Hawaii or Mexico.
We are looking forward to our next journey-retirement in Jan 2013. My plan is to become a volunteer at Children's Hosp. as a "surrogate grandma". Our grandson Alexander spent the first 3 1/2 months in the NICU. He was born at 29 weeks weighing
1 Lb 13 Oz. I am happy to say he is now a very happy, healthy, normal 16 year old. I credit this to the wonderful care he got at Children's Hosp. I think it is time for me to pay it forward. We would like to become snowbirds, but haven't chosen a location yet.
