I have lived in Grand Rapids, MN for over 30 years and upon retirement my husband and I sold our home and moved to our cabin on Lake Vermilion. I'm a retired art teacher of 34 years. My husband, Lyn, is also a retired teacher of history and
economics. He was also a coach of GR hockey for 25 years and a golf coach. We raised two daughters. Both are married - Dr. Amy Ellingson Itzin (31) is an OB-GYN doctor in Duluth, and she and her husband, Nick, have a one year old little girl, Jaclyn. Our other daughter, Beth Ann (29), has a degree in exercise physiology and is married to David Chamberlain of Maine. They live in Caribou, ME, where she is training on
the USBA team for the biathalon and David coaches cross country skiing for the Maine Winter Sports Center.
Lyn and I enjoy traveling, golfing and being on the lake. I also enjoy doing some art in my spare time, and just enjoying retirement.
