Except for a year in St. Louis, I have worked as a teacher in Omaha Public Schools, first in remedial reading and then with high ability learners. I am married to Tony Deeb and we have one son, Ben who also went to Omaha North and now lives in Los Angeles. I retired in 2005and we downsized to a condo and enjoy traveling without having a house to worry about. I volunteer at the Omaha Visitors Center, Furniture Project, Cakes 4 Kids, the Intercultural Senior Center and Durham Museum and also do textile art and embroidery.
