After finishing an M.S. in botany, I came to Greece expecting to stay one year, but I found a job at the American school and ended up teaching science there for 41 years. We live in a suburb of Athens and in summer in my father's village in Crete. Our two sons are married and live in the U.S., Philadelphia and San Francisco.
