Recently returned to Ohio. I spent 29 years on Active Duty. Final assignment was serving in the Pentagon as the Chief Physical Therapist for the US Army. Other assignments included Hawaii; Berlin, Germany; US Army Research Labs in Natick, MA: Ft Bragg, NC; and Founder and Director of the DoD Sports Physical Therapy Doctoral Program at West Point NY. Retired from the US Army and became the Director of the DoD Amputee Care Program and Chair, Department of Rehabilitation, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Recipient of the 2012 Samuel J Heyman Service to America Medal. Married for 41 years with one daughter and one grandson.
