Hello everyone. Fifty years went by way too fast. I am looking forward to seeing you at the reunion.

I have been married to Amy for 42 years and have four children and five grandchildren.


After graduating from Ohio State, I went to work at Dow Chemical as a Chemical Engineer. I spent 28 years in research. I was either in a lab studying catalytic chemistry or on a computer modeling kinetics.

I also helped design a process control system and was Dow R&D's computer system architect.

I retired from Dow in 2001. Most of my time since then has been spent coaching swimming and soccer. I still coach the high school swim team and run a USA Swimming club. I had begun a deceleration process and gave up two of my teams, when I got a new opportunity that I couldn't say no to.

Last year, I partnered with one of my sons to form a computer and Internet based Job searching firm, called Freestyle Media.

It has been a fun transition, but weird to be working again after 18 years.
