Our 50th is big!!!

So many of us grew up together, going from elementary school to junior high and then to Norland!  Football pep ralleys, yearbook, clubs and so much more.   I am very excited about reconnecting with my old friends and hope that all of you will attend.

My law school (40th Stanford Law School) reunion is the same weekend -  bummer.  I had to make a choice and YOU all are it -  so please come and celebrate us and our years at Norland!!

I've had such an excitiong life.

Like I said " I've had such an exciting life". At least I think so. Afterall, that's all that really counts. Trouble is, it went so fast. Looking foward to seeing everyone at the reunion.   Neal Schoenberg

Exciting Life

Yeah, it's me again. I know I didn't spell exciting like that. If I did it was a mistake and I stand corrected. Neal

50 Years? Impossible!

It seems like yesterday that I got up at assembly to tell you all about the Civil Air Patrol and told you to "Put a Tiger in Your BANK" and vote for me to be your class treasurer. Those years seemed to pass by a lot slower than the last 50. I only know it's been that long, because I have a daughter of 46 years and a son of 44 and 3 grandchildren. I lost my first husband when I was 39, but was blessed to remarry 6 years later to Chuck, who has brought such warmth and pleasure to my life as we celebrate 22 years this year. He has brought me 3 more children and an additional grandson. Life is beautifu! Looking forward to us both seeing you all at Reunion!

WHO IS GOING

How many are expected at the reunion?

Marian BORKEN
Rick Shaw

As many of you knew, we had planned to have Rick Shaw make an appearance on Saturday night. Sadly, he passed away last week, so I propose that we have a toast to him that night. Ricky-Ticky will be sorely missed.

Memories

Vikings

Boy, as "they" say - "If I only knew then what I know now" -- or even what I THINK I know now"  I don't have high school memories, except for marching in the band.

I think I had a good three years and I have a small wonderful circle of friends.  Can't wait to see you all there.

i guess we are a bunch of procrastinators!

I just looked at this page for the first time so my guess as to why there are not more messages is that most of us didn't know this Board existed. I am looking forward to re-living old memories with a wonderful bunch of "kids"!

some answers to some concerns on this bulletin board...

Just because I asked and got these answers from the Newport...Valet parking is $25 per day/self parking across the street is $20; there should be a coffee pot and small fridge in each room...if you don't have one ask for it.

See you all Friday!
