Gillen (Nerdahl), Laura Jane 63, of Maple Grove, passed away on 6/16/2014. Preceded in death by parents, Irvin and Carol Nerdahl, sister, Marsha Kohnen. Survived by loving husband of 34 years, Peter; children Heather, Matt, and Ryan; brothers, John (Jolene) and David (Karen) Nerdahl; brother-in-law, Richard Kohnen; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Graduate of Robbinsdale High and St. Cloud State. With a passion for children and teaching, she loved to share her artistic creativity. Also a player of games, either one-on-one, in groups, or online. Solver of crossword puzzles and always ready to volunteer to help others. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.
