I worked for about 18 years with abused and neglected children in Summit County placed in foster homes, Children's Home, and their own homes. My years at FHS and college did not prepare me for the world I was to find at my job working with these children and families. During my years there, I earned my Masters (MSSA) in Social Work from Case Western.
While caring for my children, I worked for my husband's business. In retirement, I am a substitute teacher. Also, I volunteer in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park's Visitor Center and help with community center groups leading activities in the park.
I enjoy traveling, visiting my son who is a lawyer in Denver, Colorado and spending time with my daughter who teaches in Olentangy School District near Columbus.
