Can't believe how quickly 50 years have passed. After almost 40 years of working primarily in non-profits, I am glad to be retired. My husband, Mark Rosenbaum (class of 1969 Yorktown) and I decided to move away from the D.C. area with its high c.o.l. and super congested traffic (and folks always in a hurry). We moved to New Bern, N.C. in September 2015 and are loving most aspects of small town life. Living in Coastal Carolina has many advantages, especially being just 30 minutes from beautiful beaches. We have remained in touch with a few friends from Madison H.S., as well as Yorktown. We have two sons who still live in N.Va.....
Remembering back to playing sports, the 1960s were not glorious days for young women in sports...so many more opportunities exist now.
My Mother, Fay, just passed away (101) in December. Mark's Mom is alive and well in Miami. We are planning new adventures this year and look forward to having "play time" and lots of laughs. See you in October.
