BCC seems like a lifetime ago, and I guess it was. It will be great to get together and see what unique and interesting paths each of us have taken since our graduation at the Shady Grove Music Fair. Which at that time was way out in the country.

Of course Bethesda doesn’t look anything like it did in 1972. With all the high rises, the city has certainly taken over our town. Many places are gone, Hot Shops, McDonalds, Community Paint and Hardware, Lowen’s. Heck, even Leland Junior High School is missing.

My path started with teaching sailing at YMCA Camp Letts on the Chesapeake Bay the summer of ‘72. I followed that up with a BSEE from Univ of MD. Then the adventure began. Michelle and I got married in 1980. My WMUC radio station work morphed into satellite communications at COMSAT Labs, which lead to starting a company in Silicon Valley, CA.

That was followed by 33 years at the Raytheon Company working on a variety of military communication programs. Along the way our family grew to include 3 daughters, with our first grandson due this February.

I have now retired and spend my days sailing out of Mystic CT, so it seems that life has gone full circle. It will be great to see you all at the reunion and listen to your stories. If you feel so inclined, please reach out and say “Hi”
