I can't find a single image of me in high school (so I went back a little further), and besides, since then I've been on this fun outdoor life roller coaster that started with a dozen years in search and rescue and a couple books (so I'm a lot more scarred today, anyway). Then came ten years as editor in chief of an international hunting/conservation monthly, a dozen as editor in chief of the NRA's only newsstand periodical, and a ton of writing and photo assignments. It's been great since PV, even the times snowbound on the north end of Newfoundland and Kodiak Island, no plane for days on the north end of Quebec....and the time the sheriff's office called my former wife explaining I was dead still makes me laugh. Guess it took me too long to walk out after the guide broke his back and was evaced by helicopter--I had my camera with me, so what to heck, might as well take your time.
