Mrs. Tractorman, continued ...

At least once a year, I participate in some kind of tractor event. I even drove our smallest tractor, the Cub, in the famous (in these parts) annual Callicoon parade; have hung out with members in good standing of the New England Chapter of the Farmall Club in Ludlow, VT where I'm known for riding in Earlene's bucket. I've been a parade cheerleader and tractor pull observer in Eliot, Maine and have even attended a mini Red Power Roundup with Tractorman in upstate NY.

Several years ago, the 85 year old father of one of my friends visited our barn, and while he is a sailor (not a farmer) was nevertheless duly impressed with Tractorman's growing collection. Since then John, who could never remember my name, has referred to me as "Mrs. Tractorman!" After 60 plus years - I have a new identity - Mrs. Tractorman I am!
