Hello all

Well, the chatter is picking up so we must be getting close....I can't wait to see you all for some refreshing stories (some may even be true), remembrances from a much simpler time and recalling some very special friendships. I received the attached photo from Pat Ginter (nee Mimnaugh) shortly after I presented her with a bouquet of roses and my third grade report card (she siad I had authority issues-imagine that- never changed over time) upon her retirement from the WP school system. Believe it or not I was President of the WP Bored (oops Board) of Education.  Anyway, guess I will save the BS for THE weekend. PLEASE, everyone who can make it, come ..... we'll only have the 50th once!! Warmest regards, Peace and Love to all. Bill

Hello to all from Valerie (Isaacs) Martin

Hi to all!

Valerie Isaacs
Fifty Years ??? !!!

Like the rest of you I cannot believe that fifty years have passed!  Unlike many of you, I have not kept in touch very well with my old high school friends.  Mea Culpa!  Am truly looking forward to seeing people who played such a role during the formative years.  Only 6 weeks left....

Cheers and felicitations to the organizing committee and Neal!  I am so impressed with your ability to find former classmates, organize the Party, and appropriately memorialize those who have sadly passed.  Great work and many thanks to all !!

I kind of left White Plains behind when I began my residency and my folks took off for Florida.  Then, Uncle Sam bestowed upon my hubby, a 2-year trip to Fort Benjamin Harrison and the land of Hoosiers.  Eli Lilly put some golden handcuffs on me and we are still adopted Hoosiers (Indiana).  Four years ago we bought a place on Candlewood Lake in Connecticut as a family retreat for our kids who were City bound and now I fly to White Plains airport several times a month.  Why the Westchester Mall is but a mere 45 minutes from my door!

Please forgive me if I do not remember you immediately.  While my recent memory is quite intact, my long term memory for people and some events seems to have been replaced by all that "stuff" I have to learn.  Hopefully, others will also suffer not too much from mild "oldtimers" as well.

Here are a couple of more recent pics of me, a bit less dorky-looking that in high school.  In the corner is my 2008 passport picture pre chemo and the rest is what you can expect to see in a few weeks (minus the twins and hubby, Neil).

Happy end of summer to all.  Be safe and see ya in WP!

Seeing photos of classmates

To Bill Gould and Michael David,

Wow - you both look just as I remember you - handsome dudes, both of you - how wonderful!

Hey Bill Gould

Bill, I remember you in the history class we had with lovely Carolyn Salminen. Do you remember her ?  Anyway, I am looking very much forward to seeing you, and everyone, at our Reunion 2012.

An Update from Bill Gould

Friends,

Due to old age and any other excuse I can come up with, I mistakingly said in my prior letter that Roger Kaufman was General Powell’s Aide-de-Camp.  It was another classmate who is alive and well who assisted the General.  I still miss Roger and Sidley and…

This is a recent picture.  The beautiful woman is my 87 year-old cousin, and her wonderful husband, 90 in a couple of weeks!  They got it all together.  What happened to me?

So look forward to seeing you all, Bill

Looking forward to Seeing You at the Reunion

Hello,

I am amazed that 50 years feels like it has gone by so quickly.   I am now living in New York City after being in California for 24 years and it is great.  We have the best High School Class and I have enjoyed my memories of White Plains High School my whole life.

I am finally feeling great again, and am enjoying youthful aging.   I didn't know it was possible until a couple of years ago.  I am sure we will have a fantastic 50th Reunion.

With love and blessings,

Sandy McKean Dawson

Greetings from Harriet Rudloff

Hello fellow classmates!

This is a photo of me when I was working for the Dept. of Social Services in the Child Protective Services Office.  I retired after 32 years in October, 2000.  After retirement I moved from White Plains to Maybrook, NY in Orange county.  I am enjoying my retirement doing all the things I didn't have time to do before!  I am looking forward to visiting with everyone at the Reunion!
