Hello everyone and great pictures of the Reunion by Evelyn McCoy-Wright

Yes, I am still alive and well and living in Orlando.  I am sorry I couldn't make it to the Reunion, looks like a lot of fun and great memories.  Donna and Kenny - congratulations on being married 25 years - that is amazing.  Kathy E - what's up girl - how is Craig doing?  It was really great seeing all the pictures and remembering stuff we did in High School.  I am married (Frank), I do not have any children, just our 3 dogs and 2 cats.  I have lived in Orlando since 1989 and love it here, but Frank and I do come to Brooksville a couple times every year.  Both of my parents have passed away (Dad in 1998 and Mom in 1999), but we still have "family" in Brooksville that we like to visit.  My sister, Cam also lives in Orlando and has one son, Michael who is 13.  My brother, Rob, lives in Jacksonville and has a son, Heath 25, and a daughter, Brittany 23.  Hope everyone is doing well and hopefully we can make it to the 30th Reunion.  My email is evelyn@hhbslaw.com.

Jim Elliott in ICU 6/8/08

Dear friends,
In important message regarding our classmate, our friend Jim Elliott. Jim has been in ICU at Oak Hill Hospital since Sunday afternoon. Jim was rushed by ambulance from the hotel. He is gravely ill. We need your prayers.
Please do not call Ray he is in ICU with Jim. Ray can not receive phone calls while in ICU. Please do not send flowers at this time, flowers are not allowed in ICU. Send your prayers. They are needed and appreciated.

Jim was very happy this weekend seeing all his friends and football buddies. As we all know Jim's high school years were his glory days. Friday and Saturday night he was once again in those glory days. He was with his friends reliving those special moments shared. Please pray for Jim and his family they have already suffered two recent losses from their family.

This web site will be updated when I get information from Ray or a member family. Ray Elliott's email: rrelliott65@yahoo.com

It seems like only Yesterday...(Well that is how my daddy always starts his sappy letters.)

… We were in High School with not many cares in the world. We had many firsts. We were the first to start High School in 9th grade (well some of us). We had our first real kiss, first real friends, and first real adventures. We had to struggle with the loss of good friends, break ups, and adolescents.  We had good times the lot of us.  There is so much that we did during our years, from clubs, sports, and extra activities. I look back at my years at Hernando High, the friends I made, the people I should have invested more time with, and am grateful for all of your uniqueness.  I wish I could be there with you, but I have never left, my spirt is always there. I thank you all, for the smiles, the friendships that made my years there great.   There are many funny stories I could add, but the time is late. Bless All of You.

Classmates:

Unfortunately, I won't be able to be with you all for the reunion.  Seems like every time one has rolled around something has conspired to keep me away.  But, I have found memory of you all and my affections, thoughts and prayers are with you.

Have fun and God bless!
