Hello to everyone!

It certainly doesn't feel like it's been 10 years...Sadly, I won't be able to make it to our reunion. I just spent a glorious 6 weeks in Northern Michigan this summer. Having just returned to Florida, where the heat is no doubt stifling, it's time to get back to reality. A brief update- after graduating from GVSU with my teaching certification in 2004, I perfected the art of substitute teaching. I finally gave up the notion of landing a job in the Mid-West all together. Made the move to Florida last year (20 miles outside Orlando) to take a 7th grade advanced/TAG English teaching position. The kids start back to school on the 20th, with much experience as a sub, there's no way I'll subject anyone to that misery the first week school starts!

Not married, no children, only a faithful black lab, that has been quite the trooper traveling back and forth to MI. Next year I'll be flying vs. driving...Thank god for doggy tranquillizers! Congrats to all of you who have started families. I've completely enjoyed reading about everyone's adventures in life. Although, having graduated with almost 900 people, it seems we're missing many updates?

Have a blast on the 24th! I'll be there in spirit. To those of you whom haven't been in T.C. for awhile- enjoy each moment in the magical place we were all blessed to have grown up in...
