This past September and October, I took a road trip from Venice, Florida, where I live, to New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco, Boulder, Denver, Omaha, Big Rapids, Owosso, and then back to Venice.  I had the good fortune to be able to visit Ann (Mastrodonato) Davis, Norm VanEechouttee and Suann (Beaudoin) Paluska.  It was a great trip that included waliking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, staying at the Phantom Ranch and walking back out with my son Steven. i just wish I hadn't hit an elk in Utah with my new car. I was accompanied most of the way with my new friend Ruth Hicks.
