Like most, we've all been through good times, trials, tragedies, or rocky times.
As classmates, we've never requested anything except good thoughts and prayers for our class.
Our classmate, Duke Sparks, shared information about his daughter, Karen, who's writing her first book titled, The Eleven Year Burn. Karen tells her story through the backdrop of her 90 day stay at a residential therapeutic facility. To learn more about the reason for her stay, please click & view her website.
You'll be able to read all about it, plus preview chapter 1.
Once on the site, please check out her social media, like, follow, and share to as many as you can.
Duke entails. "We pray her tragedy will shine a light on God's Grace, Mercy & Love."
He further says, "Our grandchildren, Reagan & Grant are cheering her on, 'go the distance & finish strong, Mom'!"
For you see, if you've not read chapter 1 yet, Duke lost his two grandchildren & his daughter lost her two beautiful children, Reagan,9, and Grant, 8. They were murdered by the children's father, who then set the house on fire with their two precious babies in it, then killed himself.
There is a campaign, for Karen's GoFundMe, if you wish to extend monetary help in any way, please click on the GoFundMe link. Any amount will aid Karen not only with therapy, but also, trying to live her 'new norm' daily life with such a tragedy of grief and pain.
I know whatever you decide, both Duke, his wife, Sue Ashley (FHS '67) & their daughter, Karen Sparks, will be eternally grateful for your kindness, thoughts, & continued prayers.
We want to thank you for taking the time to read, share, or donate.
