Reunion Date Change Update

A party 50+ years in the Making
In light of the current health issues we are facing, and in order to be proactive, cautious, and courteous to minimize exposure on these issues, our reunion committee has decided to move our event to June 12, 2021. As much as we hate canceling our reunion in 2020, the committee feels the current health environment is not conducive to the attendance that a 50th Anniversary Reunion warrants. So we have decided to rename our reunion to 50 Plus.
Our 50 Plus Reunion will be at the Embassy Suites as we had originally planned. This will allow us to utilize the planning that we've worked on for a year with minimal changes. Also, the Embassy Suites has guaranteed their fees will remain the same, so our Reunion will be at the same price, too. If you've already paid, we ask for you to leave the money with us and not request a refund since this will save your credit card fee. If you booked a room at the Embassy Suites, they will be canceling your room for this year and you can rebook through the web link "Events" at the same room rates.
The good news in all this is that we have an additional 9 months to encourage our classmates to attend, so please contact as many as you can and encourage them to attend our 50 Plus Reunion......

Agenda: Appetizers 5:30 to 6:30, Class picture 6:30, Dinner at 7:00 (A Deluxe buffet which includes Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Free selections), Cash Bar, DJ and dancing, and much more.......
Hotel Rooms: All of the rooms at Embassy Suites are 2 room suites. The per-night block pricing will be $139 for a single King Suite and $149 for a suite with 2 Double Beds. All reservations must be made by May 12, 2021, after this date all reservations will be made on an availability basis. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at 614-890-8600 or 800-EMB-ASSY and mention Brookhaven Reunion Class of 1970 and the room rate, or by using the web link below. Please note booking rooms through any other means, i.e. discount websites, will not guarantee this great discount and once made will not be able to be converted to our group rate.
