Single, no children or grandchildren.

My best High School memories are the teachers that I had and the friends that I made.

Life after High School:
I went to college on and off for 4 and half years. I believe it is important to be a life long learner. The major part of life is working, paying the bills and surviving. I try to be involved in my community, my church, family and friends. I have struggled with things like Arthritis, and coping with not being able to do all the things that I want to do. I have also been active politically--in lobbying for better health insurance. I have helped to make the community better by being involved as a leader on boards and committees. I worked on a project to help the park board to get a skateboard park in Elliot Park. That was built and dedicated in 2005.

Just like everyone else, I can't believe its been 50 years since graduation! What have I done with my life?...well, I got married almost 49 years ago to a guy I met at Porky's on Lake Street, I had a daughter almost 47 years ago, I worked in municipal government for 20-some years, moved to Nashville and worked in the music industry--travelled with the Oak Ridge Boys and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band for a few years. Now I'm retired and live in Alabaster, Alabama. My daughter and son-in-law live a short distance from here. Oh, yeah, I'm still married to that guy I met at Porky's! Here is a picture of my best buddy from high school...she is still my best buddy - that would be Kathy Reaves (Christy).

Tried to avoid the draft by going to NHSJC after graduation. Extensive extended travel with the Nickle Revolution band around the midwest made it impossible to keep up a decent grade average. Got tired of being on the road and going to school which prompted a quick notice from the draft board. Canada was starting to look real good but instead, I enlisted in the Navy and spent the next 4 years in California except for 8 months off the coast of Viet Nam. Came back to MN, pretty much in one piece, graduated from UofM, got married, had 2 boys and settled down. Been living in Phoenix, AZ since 2002 and enjoy reading the Minnesota weather temps in the winter. I start shivering when the temperature goes below 75. Spent the vast majority of my career in corporate real estate and private development. Am currently a principal in a biomedical development company. Probably won't make it to the party this year as I will be on my Harley on my way to Texas (ROT Rally) and Sturgis. If you're in the area, stop by and we'll have a beer.

I can't believe that it has been 45 years since those high school days!! Thanks to all who have put a wonderful website together and organizing reunions being able to go down memory lane with "old" friends.
I have lived out in the NW area for the last 20+ years and love the diversity of the mountains, ocean and forests to hike in. My husband Ron works at the Museum of Flight and we have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
Being a geriatric massage therapist has been extremely rewarding these past 12 years and see myself doing this for years to come.

Careers, Careers, Careers! After graduating from college, I spent 9 years as an USAF officer. Flying F4's and fighting in Vietnam, then teaching others to fly and fight. Married my college girlfriend, Sue, in 1977 while stationed in Las Vegas. Left the USAF in 1980 to become a professional photogrpher in Janesville, Wisconsin. Left that business after 15 years and went to work for a greenhouse manufacturer in Wisconsin. Left after my employer went to prison for Federal tax fraud.

Rejoined Federal service in 2004 as a Contracting Officer for the USDA in Madison. In January 2007, my family, wife Sue and son Phil and I moved to Cody, Wyoming to accept a promotion and a job with the US Forest Service as a regional Contracting Officer.

I retired from Federal service with the USFS in March of 2013.

Life is great...the West is better in retirement.

Since last reunion Jim and I decided to move to Washington DC to be near our daughter and husband. So we sold the house with everything in it, threw the TV in the back of the Jeep and headed east. Now have a condo on Capitol Hill just blocks from the Capitol and a mile from our daughter and the two (now 4) most wonderful grandsons in the world! What joy it is to be a part of their every day lives instead of only seeing them on holidays. Today life is museums, coffee shops and playing in the park with "our boys". Just booked my flight today to Mpls and anxious to see everyone in October!

Has it been forty years already? It is hard to believe. Did it go as fast for you?

I still love sports and the outdoors, reading, going to the movies and that stuff, but I've tried to keep up with our changing world as well. I've worked with computers now for the last 20 years and just earned a Masters degree in software engineering. Mr. Nerdahl would be shocked as badly as I did in his algebra class! Having my first Student ID Card in 30 years was a real hoot though!

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in October at the Reunion!

During most of these 40 years I felt like I just graduated from high school yesterday. However, reality is quickly setting in!

Following a six year marriage, a divorce and several years of single life once again, Duane and I met at Colonial Acres where he was doing an administrative internship and I was the Director of Nursing. We laugh when we say we met at the nursing home!! We were married in 1982 and moved to Northfield in 1983. We love living in this small community. We are close enough to the Cities to shop or enjoy dinner and a concert once in awhile.

I have had a satisfying career in health care. I became a Registered Nurse in 1972. I worked at Abbott Hospital for three years and then followed my heart into geriatric care. I was Director of Nursing at Colonial Acres for over eleven years. After training dozens of Administrative Interns I decided I would go back to college and get my degree so I could become a Nursing Home Administrator. I graduated from Mankato State University in 1991. Shortly after that I was promoted to CEO of Three Links Care Center in Northfield. I have been there ever since. I enjoy developing new buildings and services to provide care options for the elderly (knowing I will be seeking these services sooner rather than later!!).

Though I was a "non-joiner" in high school, now it seems I belong to everything and I have to be president of most organizations. I currently am the Chair of the Board of the Minnesota Health and Housing Alliance. This position finds me traveling across the state and lobbying at the State Capitol more than I like.

In my limited spare time I enjoy gardening, canning, baking and walking. Duane and I look forward to spending time at our condo in Tarpon Springs, Florida. I have three step-daughters ( all of whom are nurses) and five grandchildren. Since we are empty nesters, our dog Alfie, keeps us busy with walks. She is a bichon frisee and loves to be the center of our attention.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

Married to Duane; 3 kids; 5 grandkids.

After graduating from the University of Minnesota, I left Minneapolis in 1974, spent a year in New York as a VISTA volunteer, four years working in Seattle, and finally to Anchorage in 1979. I retired from the University of Alaska in 2016. I love being retired, it's almost like every day is Saturday!

All of my close family members live in Alaska and now that we've retired, we have no plans to move anywhere else, it is the most beautiful place to live.

Survived, loved, and remembered by wife, Sarah Kiecker; son, Evan Kiecker; mother, Coila Kiecker; mother-in-law, Martha Flom; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Nancy Kiecker; brother-in-law, Bob Thompson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Craig and Susan Flom; nieces Kelly, Angie, Stephanie, and Emily; nephews Chris, Ben, and Peter; grand- nephews Kristian and Kolby. Gary was a loving husband and father, a devoted son, a delightful uncle, a respected co-worker, and a cherished friend and neighbor. He was a "rock" for many people, always offering thoughtful support along with his trademark dry sense of humor. Gary was a graduate of Robbinsdale High School, the University of Minnesota, and the University of St. Thomas. After serving in the Army, he launched his business career working for the National Alliance of Business, National Car Rental, and Campbell- Mithun Advertising. Most of Gary's career was spent working at 3M Company where he was the "go to" marketing guy. He and his wife, Sarah, met while working at 3M and were married for 20 wonderful years. Although an introvert, he truly enjoyed attending regular "gourmet club" dinners with dear friends during the past 27 years. After early retirement, Gary devoted his time to supporting son Evan, doing yardwork, researching local history, and helping out the neighborhood lake association. Gary will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A memorial service will be held at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel on Monday, December 17th at 6 pm with visitation from 4-6 PM. Missed the last reunion because we were scuba diving off the Great Barrier Reef in Australia - really! I've been married for 32 years to a wonderful guy, with two grown sons. I have worked in the travel industry for the last 15 years as a reporting specialist.
With the reunion practically in our back yard - we snowshoe at Brookview during the winter -- I can hardly wait!
