Lisa Karen (Shanks) Parker Laingsburg (August 15, 1964-June 16, 2009). Age 44, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2009. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home in Laingsburg at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Walworth officiating. Burial took place in Laingsburg Cemetery. Lisa was born on August 15, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Leon and Mildred (Primeau) Shanks. She graduated from Holt High School and received a Bachelor Degree at CMU. On September 12, 1987 she married Timothy Parker in Lansing. Lisa was a homemakerand a loving mother. She is survived by her husband, Timothy, and their son Brennan, her mother, Mildred, two brothers Mark (Mary) Shanks of Portland,OR and Kurt (Penny) Shanks of Clarkston, MI. She was predeceased by her father, Leon.
