A large percentage of students at Highland High are at-risk for hunger. Because students who are hungry do not learn as they should, HHS has a Student Food Pantry. This has become a critical need in the life of the school. We would like the Class of 1978 to give back to the school by donating food to the school food pantry.
If you are able, please bring a case or large bag of food to the school on Friday night and/or to the Country Club on Saturday night and we will make sure that your generous donations benefit those needy students at our alma mater. Most requested foods - high calorie snacks prepared snacks the kids can eat after school, granola bars, individually-packaged (non-pop) drinks, gatorade, bottled water, cereal, microwave oatmeal, microwave instant meals (ie-mac & cheese), peanut butter, jelly, packaged pastries, ramen, etc. The Highland Food Pantry helps 30-40 students per day during the school year.
If you cannot attend the reunion or would prefer to help out by giving a cash donation, please send your check payable to "Highland High School" to Janine Creager, 1268 Cannon Drive, Farmington, UT 84025 or drop it off either night at the reunion!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
