Douglas Eugene Dewegeli passed away on July 17, 2012 in Leander, Texas. He was born on August 26, 1959 in Covina, California. He is survived by his mother, Joy Dewegeli of Leander, Texas He was an accomplished artist and sports fan.
Jill Johannsen Kelsey, 47, of Coronado, CA., died July 13, 2007 after a hard fought battle with lung cancer. Jill was born in San Diego on September 11, 1959, attended elementary school and high school in West Covina, CA. She graduated from University of Southern California in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and from San Diego State University with a master's degree in Education in 2002. Jill worked in a variety of fields, but most recently as a reading specialist for the South Bay Unified School District at I.B. Elementary School. Jill loved spending time with her children, her three golden retrievers, and tending to her garden. She is survived by her daughter, Chloe Kelsey; her son, Fletcher Kelsey; mother, Geri Johannsen; sister, Janice MacLeod; and brother Jay Johannsen. Services - Christ Episcopal Church in Coronado (at the corner of 9th & C Ave.) on Saturday, July 21st at 1:00 PM. Joseph F. McConville, 55, passed away August 6, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. Joe was the youngest of six children, born February 10, 1959 to Donald and Irene McConville who precede him in death.Joe grew up in West Covina, California and graduated from West Covina High School. Enjoying the gifts of academic excellence and athleticism, Joe was accepted into the U. S. Air Force Academy and graduated from there in 1981. Honoring his country's call to service, he served in the Air Force during which time he obtained his MBA from University of Southern California. Joe had worked for Lockheed Martin for the last 20+ years at the time of his death.Joe loved traveling both on business and pleasure. He also enjoyed golfing, skiing, camping, boating, and exploring the Colorado back county. He could always be found on the sidelines attending the many sporting events of his girls.Joe is survived by his loving wife, Marty; and two daughters, Rylee and Callie. He will also be deeply missed by all of his siblings, Donald Robert McConville, Thomas and Barbara McConville, Daniel and Gay McConville, Mark and Cathy Sue McConville, Kathleen and Lee Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by all who knew him as an intelligent, kind, caring, sweet man devoted to his family.His wonderful spirit and unique life will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Air Force Academy Chapel. Richard John Maietta, Esq. passed onto Eternal life at his home in West Covina. He died peacefully with wife Ellen and son Daniel by his side. He was a devoted, faithful and very loving husband and father. Richard was a respected and highly ethical Worker's Comp Attorney for 29 years. He had a 13 year fight against cancer and beat unsurmountable odds to be here with his wife and son as long as he could. He was a holy man, his family's peace and hope is his new joy in the vision of God. Richard was 55, and is survived by his wife Ellen Maietta, son Daniel Maietta, and his parents Pat and Helen Maietta of West Covina, three sisters, a brother and a nephew. Funeral Mass: Saturday, December 13 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Therese Catholic Church at 1100 E. Alhambra Road, Alhambra, CA
