So, what have I been doing the last... oh 30 years?!?! Well, since you asked...

Since graduating, I've been lucky enough to pursue my dream of being on television! I've hosted oodles of TV shows and have appeared on HGTV, TLC, Hallmark, OWN, GAC, NBC, Today Show, etc and have sold all sorts of wacky things while hosting too many infomercials or appearing on various home shopping channels!! Hey, those Snuggies don't sell themselves ;-)

Currently, I host/do interior design on my very own TV show that taped in the UK, a few years ago. It's called House Doctor... and, I'm the house doctor! Since shooting the 45 hour-long episodes, my show has aired around the globe from UK, to Italy, to the Middle East, to South America and even China! Thanks heavens for Google Translate... I get some funny "fan & hater" comments on social media! Between us, I love the haters!! Currently, House Doctor is running on Netflix US!! On the show, I make over homes that are languishing on the real estate market, in an effort to help them sell! It's kinda like staging. In addition to doing renovations on TV, I do it IRL. I live in LA, am married to Marty Metro (yup, that's our real last name NOT some made up Hollywood one!), our dog, Bernie, and I volunteer at Children's Hospital bringing good cheer to sick kids & their families, we spend our weekends on our 1975 houseboat called the Retro Metro which has appeared on various TV shows, magazines, books, etc and I love all things orange & vintage.

Wow. That was a lot of bragging. Oh, and I'm still totally insecure!
