You may not remember me right away, but I'm sure you will remember my sister Joy Paget (Class of 74) and/or my brother Dave Paget (Class of 75). I was best friends with Margaret Robbertze (best head of hair 1976) and we were such close friends, we used to dress the same - little dorkettes for sure - through thick and thin, except when it came to getting caught for smoking in the girls bathroom, right next to the principals office of all places! I cannot believe, way back then, that there was actually smoking section on school campus; although, that was after the incident in the bathroom! My how things have changed, probably for the best though! I left West Covina in 1978 and have been living in La Crescenta, CA ever since. I started working as a trainee at a law firm on July 1, 1976 and am still with the same attorney - 40 years! I was married for 26 years until my husband, Ed McCarthy, passed away in 2006. I am married again to Tim Hoover of San Marino HS (Class of 69), residing in La Crescenta. I have one son, Kellen E. McCarthy, 31 years old, recently married and soon to be a dad, January, 2017. So looking forward to being a Grandma! Life has had its ups and downs, as it does for all of us, but for the most part, life is good!
