I married my first husband, Chuck, within a year of graduating from Madison. We had 2 children together, a daughter,Allyson, and a son, Chuck. I started college when my children were in elementary school taking only a few classes at a time and eventually earned my Bachelors degree . My first husband and I were divorced in 1981. Around that time I entered graduate school and earned my MSW. I started my career as an LCSW in 1985 after both of my children had graduated from highschool. I met my second husband,Ed, in 1987. He was my soul mate and the love of my life. We had a wonderful life together. Ed died in 2006.
I continue to enjoy many of the activities which Ed and I enjoyed doing together (i.e., traveling, dining out, the theatre, long walks,visiting friends and relatives, etc.) Currently I am studying Spanish at PSU and I am a volunteer for the performing arts. Other activities I enjoy are: golf, table tennis, basketball and various exercise classes.
I also love to spend time with my children their spouses and my grandchildren.
