20 Year Reunion... Wow!

What have I done since High School... I'm not sure where to begin, but I'll be quick! After High School I went to Morningside College (Sioux City, IA) on a basketball scholarship. After 4 great years I graduated with my business degree. I was looking for a job when I was offered an opportunity to play Pro Basketball in Europe. After my first season in England, I was bitten by the travel bug and ended up playing for another 12 years. During those years, I either played or lived in England, Australia, Belgium, Ireland, Greece, Holland, Croatia, Poland, Lithuania and France. I also spent a lot of time in South Africa with my ex-wife, Lara Logan. Unfortunately after 9 years of marriage, her job and career at CBS became too much. With Lara covering the war in Iraq, we grew apart and into different people. I'm glad to say that we're still friends.

After Basketball, I moved back to the States to be closer to my family. I now live in Chicago and work for Bluestar Energy Services, the "2nd Fastest Growing Company" in America in 2008. I'm the Communications Director and do a lot of lobbyist work in the State Capital. Bluestar is also launching a new IT Company named "Avigent." So now I'll be working for both companies. It's been very busy, but I like it. It's nice to say I love coming to work in the morning. Everyday is different.

The last 20 years have been Awesome! Even with all the "Up's & Down's" I feel very blessed. I always look at the positives. I've been paid to do something I love, traveled the world, and made great friends around the world! Can't wait for the next 20 years!!!
