After Northwood, I attended U of Maryland (where I played sousaphone in the Maryland Marching Band) and then on to U of Pennsylvania Law School

I practiced law for 40 years, 20 in private practice in DC and 20 years in the federal government, with the last 16 years as an appellate lawyer at the Federal Communications Commission. I retired in 2011.

I have been married for 42 years, have a son and daughter and 5 grandchildren. Life has been very good to me.

I have fond memories of my years at Northwood, particularly Mr. Tunis's 11th grade English class, and my good friends during those years Jeff Parmet, Chuck Kurlansky, Diane Salazar, Carol Sharlip, Linda Morgan, and Paula Hudes, along with the rest of the band, cheerleaders and football players who shared the same class schedule with me for most of our high school years.
