After leaving for college, I returned to D.C. in 1998, after living in New Haven, Boston, London, Denver, Kyoto, Honolulu, Chicago, and Syracuse. I've been in IT for a number of years, but previously taught photography at the U. of Hawaii, and writing at Syracuse U.

I've enjoyed practicing Qigong for a number of years, and have meditated since college, most notably during my stays at a Zen monastery in Japan. I continue with my writing and my photography.
