I attended SHJH in our 7th and 9th grade years. I actually graduated in 1979 from Washburn Rural H.S. I served in the U.S. Navy from 1980-1984 as a Broadcast Journalist as a radio and television announcer. (think "Good Morning Vietnam"). In 1984 I returned to Topeka, KS and worked at KTPK Country Radio while going to school. I received by BA in Communications from Washburn University.

My husband and I currently reside in Olathe, Kansas. I have been working at State Farm Insurance since 1993. I have many hobbies, but by far my favorite is singing in a 19 piece Swing/Jazz Big Band. Apparently my talents lie in the arts, so how I ended up in insurance is a complete mystery to me!

I have one daughter, Lindsay. She is as unique now as I was back in the 1970's and I love it! She is a bit of a vagabond, but currently lives in Lawrence, Kansas. She's the one pictured with me on the profile page.

I remember many of you from your pictures and, if it is at all possible, I plan to attend the reunion.
