Although I was late to join my Wilson cohorts, coming to DC from NYC in November of our sophomore year, I have made up for it by being here ever since. A Fine Arts graduate of GWU, I put art on the back burner for decades, while pursuing a career in management of environmental programs in NOAA in the Department of Commerce. Since my retirement at 55, I have been able to devote most of my efforts to the art career I had postponed, and am now on the Board of the Yellow Barn Studio at Glen Echo Park. and show my work at Gallery 322, in Frederick. www.gallery-322.com If you are reading this in April, 2014, I invite you to visit my solo show there...but there is always a selection of paintings on view, and I would love to meet any of you there to give you a tour of our gallery. I have a son, Alan, from my first marriage in 1968, to Terry Terbush, Wilson '67. Since 1990, I have been married to Dick Schaefer. Dick and I have been traveling a lot since our retirements, and also spend time on the Nanticoke River on the Eastern Shore. We enjoy a few weeks every winter in Key West--another beautiful place to paint!
