Hello, Everyone!
I recently retired from high school teaching (Honors English, Gifted Psychology and AP Psychology) after 31 years of teaching - - ten in Florida and 21 at Wheeler High School in Marietta, GA.
I'm still married to Bill Taaffe, whom I started dating at Miami Jackson when I was a junior. We have two sons: Jaron, who died in 2007, and Damon, who is working as an attorney for the Department of Justice in Washington, DC.
I spend lots of time outdoors. I'm a volunteer instructor for Operation Boot Camp (we meet daily at Terrell Mill Park in Marietta) and I'm active in the Atlanta Outdoor Club. I love hiking and the excitement of trying new activities.
