After graduation from CWRU in 1970 and a year's study at Hebrew University in Jerusalem towards an M.A. in art history, I worked in the 1970's at the Jewish Museum of New York and at the Yeshiva University Museum in my field of study - art history and Jewish art. I've lived in Israel since 1977. I'm blessed with four children, ages 38 to 29 (three sons and one daughter). All of my children served in the I.D.F. [Israel Defense Forces] before going to university. All are married and have children, or are expecting their first child. All live in Israel, which is a blessing for me. My children work in four different fields: I.D.F. career officer and paramedic; educational tourism; computer sciences; and, electrical engineering. I've 6 grandchildren so far, from age 11 years, to one born mid-July 2016 - and I have another grandchild on his way. I'm divorced [10 years ago, after almost 30 years of marriage]. I still work full-time, at Israel's central Holocaust Museum, "Yad Vashem" in Jerusalem, as a translator and writer for their Archives. I'm still a 'culture-vulture', enjoying Jerusalem's countless cultural activities. Several years ago, I studied to become a licensed Medical Clown, to "compensate" for my daily work at Yad Vashem. I used to volunteer as a medical clown at hospitals, but lately I reserve this hobby for entertaining my grandchildren. Yours with smiles and best wishes, Leah
