After a 35-year career in Journalism and Corporate Communications with several Florida companies, my husband Dennis and I retired to Roatan, the largest island in The Bay Islands on the Caribbean Sea. We have been there 14 years and have two vacation rentals that cater to scuba divers and adventurers.

We lived in St. Petersburg, FL for many years working for the St. Petersburg Times, Sykes Enterprises and Progress Energy (Duke Power). Dennis is also a Progress Energy retiree.

We have three sons (including a set of identical twins) and 8 grandchildren. Hobbies are scuba diving, snorkeling and kayaking.
