After high school, I attended ESU AND MANAGED TO GRADUATE!! I went on to teach special ed in a small town in south central Kansas (Medicine Lodge) where I met my husband, Mike. We ranched and farmed there for 12 years - had 3 of our 4 children. Then, amazingly, we felt called by God to go to Istanbul, Turkey to share the love of God with the 17 million people there. We have been here for the past 11 years - had one more son here (a real cultural experience!) - and have learned so much about the faithfulness and greatness of God. We wouldn't have traded a minute of it!
Our oldest daughter is 20 and will get married in August - she and her fiance intend to return to Turkey to share God's love. Our next daughter will be starting college in the States this fall - at a as yet unknown college! Our boys, 13 and 11, I teach at home - I am NOT bored!(maybe they are)
I feeling amazingly blessed with the life God has mapped out for me and look forward to the future with eagerness and hope. We are due back in the States this fall, so I hope to be able to attend the reunion and see you all!
