Anthony A. (Tony) Abbott passed away May 28th, 2009. He was 48 years old. Tony was born October 20, 1960 in Topeka to Jetta Hines Abbott and Dwayne Hollenbeck. He spent most of his life in Topeka, graduating from Washburn Rural High School in 1979. On October 1, 1988, he and Deena Gutsch were married. They had one son, Zachary. They were divorced in 2001. Tony attended Topeka Technical College. He was a sales rep for Hagman's and worked in all types of construction most of his life. Tony loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed playing pool. Tony is survived by his son, Zachary Abbott, a half sister, Mary Hollenbeck, a half brother, Mike Hollenbeck and his fiance, Caren Martin.
A memorial for Tony will be Thursday, June 4th at 3pm at Topeka Bible Church in the Xeon's Chapel at 1135 College Avenue, Topeka, KS.
