Wow 30 years! Where do I begin? After SHHS I went to college for a year and half until my parents decided they were done paying for partying, so I had to get a JOB. Went to work for Southwestern Bell in 1981, where a few of our classmates work, and am still there. Have had several positions and went into Management in '96, and am currently working on our newest venture getting into the TV world, U-verse.
I did eventually graduated college from Baker University where I met my wife, Suzanne. We have 2 daughters, a hers and a mine. Brandi, mine, is 27 and will be getting married next Spring, Suzanne's daughter, Jennifer, is 24 and is expecting our 1st grandchild reunion weekend. I wasn't going to be in town for the reunion but now with the baby we canceled our plans and will try to make one of the activities.
We did the whole suburban thing while kids were in school but had bought 10 acrers in Rantoul, KS for our future. We broke ground 2 weeks after Jennifer graduated and built our log home. When I say built, I mean WE built it. You know your wife loves you when you get her to live in a barn/man toy storage facility, to build your dream home. We have 2 dogs, a Lab and a Maltese, Jack the barn cat, and a few wild critters I feed just to watch.
We love to ride our Harley's around the states, and travel throughout the world. We have been to many places but last year was 20 days in Germany, and the pic posted was from that trip. There are so many adventures we have done so far, and many more in our future, as we look forward to retirement, but we are not slowing down.
Life is too short to let it come to you, kick its ass and enjoy it!! I know I am.
