The stereotypical retired elementary school teacher, I’m
single, have no children, and am staff to two spoiled cats.

I attended Clark College and the University of Puget Sound, earning an M.Ed in Educational Counseling. Counseling jobs were scarce in Clark County so I began teaching.

I remained as a teacher in the elementary grades and retired after 32 years. Now I spend my time woodcarving, doing wool embroidery, traveling and vacuuming cat hair.
