I was born at St Joseph's hospital in Orange. My Grandma and Grandpa raised me until 3rd grade and Grandma was a very bright light in my life. Those of you who attended Sycamore Elementary School knew my Grandma as Mrs Toney. Grandma and Grandpa both went to be with the Lord in late 1994.

I attended Sycamore Elementary, Portola Jr High and Orange High School. I did attend a couple of schools in Los Angeles when my mother moved my brother and I there. We went to Shenandoah Elementary as well as Palms Jr High School.

My aunt, Lisha Toney, and my brother, John Allen, attended Orange High School just as we all did. Many of you knew them as they graduated in 1978. Lisha is doing well in Texas, however, my brother passed away a few years ago.

Both of my parents as well as several aunts and uncles also graduated from Orange High School. Mom and Dad had Mrs Stratton for typing and they got in trouble for passing notes and generally being inattentive in class (young love, lol). My dad graduated in 1958, 20 years before my brother and my mom graduated in 1959, 20 years before me. My dad still lives in Orange on Jacaranda Street, not far from OHS. My mom left this earth 10 years ago after a battle with cancer. My aunts and uncles are all scattered across the USA but alive and well.

I left California 20 years ago and moved to Idaho. I have 4 grown children (18 next month, 20 this month, 22 & 24 in September) and one grandson who just turned 2.
