After SHHS I returned to California.
B.A. & M.A., University of Southern California (USC Trojans). Lived in Los Angeles & Orange County. Somehow ended up in politics and started out as College Republican President at USC while Reagan was still president and then time just flew by.
After USC, I was Washington, DC Office manager for US Congressman from California for 7 years. (Worked on The Hill - fun but 24/7.)
Lived in Alexandria (Mt. Vernon) Virginia
Moved to DFW when it was time to start a family and started my own business. Republican Fundraising & Event Consultant, Victory Funds, Inc. for 25 years, specializing in US Congressional races. Helped elect 8 new GOP Members and worked for 2 Chairmen.
Current, Realtor, Century 21, Grapevine, Texas. Love love houses and they are moving fast in DFW! Politics was fun but 24/7 and the road warrior business got old. Houses just sit there and look pretty -- and don't do crazy things.
Married 25 years, 2 teenage daughters, one in college and the other in high school. Our oldest daughter just finished her freshman year in college and is the only girl officer for International DECA (high school & college marketing assn.). Our youngest is in choir and theater -- singing her way through high school.
Love the DFW weather - not much snow - just ice once in a while. My family all left Kansas, except for my sister, Lauri, so we don't get up there very often. She just moved into her mother-in-law's old house right on the Lecompton exit for turnpike, some of you see her around occasionally.
Oh, just finishing up terms as officer for Daughter's of the American Revolution (DAR) and Colonial Dames. Interested in ancestry and help others trace lines just for fun through ancestry.com.
Not sure yet if I will be able to make the reunion. If not, hope you all have a great time!
