Scott Ryan Sessin, 29 Ellis, was killed June 23, 1990 in a one-vehicle accident on K-4 near Brownell in Ness County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said Mr. Sessin was killed when his car hit a bridge about foyr miles east of Brownell and burst into flames.
Mr. Sessin farmed the past year with an uncle, Milton King In Ellis County. He previously was a bartender at Whiskers Luncheon and Drinking Establishment in Topeka.
He was born Oct. 8 1960, at Hays, the son of Guy and Roma King Sessin. He graduated from Shawnee Heights High School near Tecumseh and attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence and Washburn University in Topeka.
Mr. Sessin was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles Area No. 58, both in Topeka, and National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his parents, Guy and Roma Sessin, Tecumseh: a brother, Kirk Sessin, Fort Bragg, N.C. and a grandmother, Margaret Kin, Ellis.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Christ Lutheran Church in Ellis. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetary in Ellis. Contributions may be made to the Scott Sessin Memorial Fund to be designated later by relatives and sent in care of Wassinger Funeral Chapel in Ellis.
